Nottingham Forest FC v Manchester City - Premier League 2026/27

'Big questions to ask the manager' - Murphy turns on Maresca

Danny Murphy has accused Manchester City of arrogance after their 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest, as the dream start to Enzo Maresca's reign unravelled further. Seven straight wins have now been followed by three successive Premier League losses, and Steve Stone was just as scathing about a disjointed back line that was repeatedly exposed at the City Ground.

Maresca blames lack of intensity for Forest defeat

Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca was left fuming after his side suffered a damaging 3-1 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon. The Italian tactician pulled no punches in his post-match assessment, highlighting a complete lack of physical presence from his star-studded squad.
