De Graafschap Genel Bakış

The dominance of the CAF Champions League-winning club players in the South African national team squad has once again raised questions, but the club’s strong representation has been defended as a reflection of the quality within the Chloorkop ranks.

The Brazilians strengthened their squad with a new defensive addition as the transfer window entered its final stages. The Chloorkop outfit waited until after the deadline day to make the signing announcement, adding another option to a squad competing for honours domestically and on the continental stage.

The Tshwane giants are continuing to redefine the boundaries of African club football after securing yet another piece of silverware for their ever-expanding trophy cabinet. Following their latest continental success, the Sporting Director has hailed the squad for reaching a new stratosphere on the global stage.

The Betway Premiership title race may still be up for grabs, but the Tshwane giants are increasingly operating beyond the usual domestic rivalry. Despite surrendering their league crown last season, the Brazilians' achievements beyond the Premier Soccer League have strengthened their standing, with former star Anthony Laffor arguing that the club is now chasing ambitions far bigger than simply dominating South African football.
