Arsenal and Bayern Munich in the equation

Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has backed his former international team-mate Yaya Toure to make a historic return to English football. The ex-Ivory Coast star believes the Manchester City legend possesses all the necessary qualities to become the first Ivorian to manage in the Premier League.

Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has thrown his weight behind Mikel Arteta's side to secure back-to-back Premier League titles following their historic success last season. The retired full-back believes the Gunners have matured into a team that strikes fear into their domestic and European rivals alike.

Former attacker Theo Walcott has warned Arsenal that their away form could jeopardise their chances of defending the Premier League title this season. While the Englishman still believes Mikel Arteta's side are an exceptional team with the quality to retain their crown, he insists that their vulnerability on the road remains a significant concern in the current campaign.
