James Keene against Patrick Tignyemb - Bloemfontein Celtic v Bidvest WitsGallo

When is the Telkom Knockout Cup final between Bidvest Wits and Bloemfontein Celtic and how can I watch?

It was exactly five years ago when Bloemfontein Celtic beat Mamelodi Sundowns to the Telkom Knockout Cup in Durban, and they are in with a chance for their only second TKO title.

However, they face a Bidvest Wits team desperate to use the final to get their campaign back on track following a poor start to the league season.

Wits were dominant last term and bagged two major trophies, including a maiden PSL title, meaning their players know what it takes to win a final and will want do just that this weekend.

For Veselin Jelusic, this will be a test of character for the majority of his players, who never played in a Cup final as a team before.

The Free State outfit will certainly want to replicate the same performance that saw them narrowly beat the Students 1-0 in the league earlier this season, although history shows that Gavin Hunt enjoys playing against Celtic since his appointment as head coach of Wits over three years ago.

Hunt has lost to Celtic on four ocassions, while he boasts eight wins in all competitions.
