Cape Town City head coach, Benni McCarthy, is expecting a tough enounter when his side face SuperSport United in the MTN8 final on Saturday night.
This will be McCathy's first Cup final as a coach, but he's not nervous at all, and has a plan in place to stop Matsantsa.
"SuperSport, under Eric, will be disciplined and organised. It’s going to be tough for us. Eric’s teams are always structured, very well organised, and difficult to break down, but I think we are able to do it. We want to take a lot from our games against Wits this season - because Wits and SuperSport are very similar with regards to strength and depth. I’m certainly expecting an entertaining and interesting cup final,” McCarthy told the media.
Tinkler for his side, will come up against a team he coached last season, but City should not expect mercy from their former manager.
“There is no sentiment because if you are a professional‚ you move on. It is about SuperSport United and winning things for them now‚” Tinkler said.
“We are going there with the attitude and mentality that we want to win‚ and if that happens we will celebrate with humility," he added.
