WATCH: Over to you, Spurs - Can anyone stop Man City?

This week Manchester City set a new Premier League record of 15 consecutive wins, sparking fears that the Premier League title race is over before even a Christmas cracker has been pulled.

City’s jaw-dropping form has seen them drop just two points all season – and they already have more points than they accumulated in total in six other Premier League campaigns.

The question is, can anyone stop them? Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United have all tried and failed.

Next up are Tottenham, who at least come into the tie with history on their side – Spurs have won 10 Premier League away games against City, more than they have on the road at any other top-flight club.

And the league’s leading assist maker, David Silva, has failed to create a goal against Spurs in 11 league matches.

Harry Kane, meanwhile, has netted seven goals in seven Premier League away matches this season.

And no team has recorded victories over each of Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham in a top-flight league season for over 50 years.

Pep Guardiola’s City, however, look intent on smashing every record they can.
