Major boost for Kariobangi Sharks ahead of KPL's Week 2

Kariobangi Sharks have been heavily boosted with the return of their key players.

The club has confirmed that the former Ushuru FC star Ebrima Sanneh and former Posta Rangers prodigy Calvin Odongo have fuly recovered and ready for their second league match.

The two, who have been nursing injuries, were absent during the club’s Kenyan Premier League debut on Sunday when they were defeated 1-3 by titans Gor Mahia and it is a rejuvenating feeling as the club waits to know their next opponent between Muhoroni Youth and Sofapaka.

“After a recovery session at the gym yesterday, the team resumed normal training today at the Utalii Grounds as we prepare for our next league match.

“The team was upbeat in today's session and got boosted by the return of Ebrima Sanneh and Calvin Odongo who've been out injured and missed our first match against Gor Mahia,” a statement on the club’s facebook page read.

Ugandan striker Mathew Odongo, scored their consolation against K’Ogalo on Sunday in the absence of the aforementioned forwards.
