Kakamega Homeboyz coach Paul Nkata opens up after a draw with Vihiga United

Kakamega Homeboyz head coach Paul Nkata says it was never going to be an easy outing against Vihiga United.

The visitors went ahead with 25 minutes left on the clock, but the hosts restored parity 19 minutes later.

Nkata is unhappy with two points dropped adding that he is going to work hard to ensure his side returns to winning ways.

"It has never been easy playing against a team that is fighting to get off the relegation zone, meaning they are fighting to get points.

"Vihiga was determined to down us, they worked hard even when they went down. They knew they had to get something from the game.

"I believe concentration lapses cost us at the end, it was a game we wanted to win; we will work on that before our next outing."

Homeboyz are currently placed 11th on the log with thirty-four points.
