It was certainly a disappointing day at the office for Ghana following a 1-0 defeat to ten-men Kenya in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Saturday.
A Nicholas Opoku first half own goal saw the Black Stars succumb to their first defeat of the series in Group F.
The matchday two result leaves Kwesi Appiah's outfit tied on three points with the Harambee Stars and Sierra Leone ahead of the other group game between the Leone Stars and bottom-placed Ethiopia on Sunday.
Ghanaians, predictably disappointed by Saturday's result, have taken to social media to express their frustrations.
Below are some reactions:
Disjointed, inept, lethargic, classles. Poorest Black Stars display since Ghana vs Uganda in 2014.— Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo (@Fentuo) 8 septembre 2018
Appiah has to do better. His team selection and substitution today were very questionable.

It's only to those who want to play the ostrich game.
In fact, nothing much to expect from a coach like Kwesi Appiah.
There's no seriousness from the technical bench down to the playing body.
Lol there is no Jordan Ayew to be blamed for the black stars losing the match. Kwesi Appiah make hot 😂— Junior 🇬🇭® (@kmtakyi) 8 septembre 2018
