Baroka sign Thabiso Semenya and Davies Nkausu

Baroka have bolstered their squad with the signings of defensive duo Thabiso Semenya and Zambia international Davies Nkausu.

Bakgaga have struggled this season in spite of having a new man at the helm in former Zambia head coach Wedson Nyirenda.

While they have beaten Cape Town City this season, results have not been forthcoming as they currently sit in 15th place on the Premier Soccer League (PSL) log.

This has tempted Nyirenda to go in search of some new faces to reinvigorate his side, and the club have since confirmed that Semenya and Nkausu have joined their ranks.

Both players are certainly no strangers to PSL football as Semenya was an integral part of Polokwane City’s squad before eventually departing in June, where he has since failed to find a club until now.

Meanwhile, Nkausu is an Africa Cup of Nations winner, having previously been part of Zambia’s success story on the continent in 2012, and has played for SuperSport United among other PSL clubs.

The 32-year-old’s versatility may also come in handy as he can play anywhere in defence something which his fellow countryman Nyirenda may relish as Baroka have leaked 10 goals in 10 games.

The duo now will have some time to integrate themselves to life at the Limpopo-based outfit as Baroka enjoy a short break from competitive action due to the current international break.
