67' GOAL - Another ball forward finds Laurienté. He slips as he comes into contact with Jimenez but beats the Fiorentina full-back as he falls. Laurienté takes a touch to set himself, then drives a powerful right-footed shot inside the far post to make it 2-2. A lengthy VAR check for possible handball follows, but the goal stands.
62' CHANCE - Mastantuono races forward after another costly Sassuolo giveaway and tries a diagonal left-footed shot under pressure from Idzes. His powerful effort takes a slight deflection and looks bound for the corner, but Turati stretches to turn it behind.
50' GOAL - Njie scores his second consecutive goal. He cuts in from the left, takes aim and beats Turati with a curling right-footed shot inside the far post.
45+2' GOAL - After 20 minutes of little action, the final attack of the first half brings a goal. A scramble in the box leaves Njie to retrieve and work a difficult ball on the left side of the area before sending it into the middle. Pellegrino uses his body to get free of Candé, adjusts in an instant and beats Turati into the bottom corner.
25' GOAL - Viery gives the ball away, allowing Esposito to win it and immediately play Laurienté forward. He sprints along the offside line to go one-on-one with De Gea, who is slow off his line, and sends a low right-footed shot through the goalkeeper's legs to put Sassuolo ahead.
5' CHANCE - Jimenez plays the ball forward for Mastantuono's run, but one-on-one with Turati, Mastantuono pulls his diagonal shot too far across goal and narrowly misses the target.
0' Kick-off at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia at 6.30pm
