AmaZulu recorded their second PSL win of the season after a 1-0 victory against Marumo Gallants at Princess Magogo on Wednesday.
With an assist from Pule Ekstein, Keegan Allan scored for Usuthu in the 42nd minute. The slim win propelled Arthur Zwane's side to the sixth position with six points, while Gallants, with the same points, sit fifth courtesy of a superior goal difference.
BackpageOrbit College 0-3 Sekhukhune United
Sekhukhune United thrashed Orbit College 3-0 in their midweek league clash at Dobsonville Stadium.
With an assist from Keletso Makgalwa, Vusumuzi Mncube broke the deadlock in favour of Sekhukhune United in the 40th minute.
Makgalwa and Mncube combined again at the hour mark and produced the second goal, which was scored by the latter as Sekhukhune extended their lead.
Tshepo Mokoane scored the third goal four minutes after the second one with an assist from the impressive Makgalwa.
Makgalwa, a former Mamelodi Sundowns star, consequently made history as he became the first player in the PSL's top flight to make a hat-trick of assists in a game since Themba Zwane in April 2024 against Galaxy.
Meanwhile, the win takes Sekhukhune top ahead of Kaizer Chiefs on goal difference. Monnaoule Saleng's Orbit College are 11th.
BackpageDurban City 1-1 Golden Arrows
Durban City's two-game winning streak in the Premier Soccer League has come to an end after a 1-1 draw against Golden Arrows at Chatsworth Stadium on Tuesday.
The league debutants started their campaign explosively by beating TS Galaxy and Chippa United but have been slowed down by Arrows.
Meanwhile, Durban City's Jerome Karelse scored an own goal in the 10th minute to give them the lead, but Junior Dion equalised for Arrows in the 41st minute.
The draw means Durban City have dropped to the third position with seven points.

Chippa United 1-4 TS Galaxy
TS Galaxy registered their biggest league win when they managed a 4-1 victory over Chippa United at Buffalo City Stadium.
Khaya Mfecane gave Chilli Boys a fifth-minute lead before it was equalised in the 41st minute when Puso Dithejane, a Kaizer Chiefs product, found the back of the net.
However, Galaxy came back for the second half more motivated and scored three more goals.
Mlungisi Mbunjana scored the second in the 63rd minute, and Dithejane grabbed his brace by scoring the third in the 81st minute before he marked his hat-trick in the sixth minute of added time.
This is Galaxy's first win this season, and it propelled them to the eighth position, while the Chilli Boys are 14th.

Polokwane City claimed a slim 1-0 win over Siwelele at Lucas Moripe Stadium.
It took the home side 18 minutes to grab the lead when Keorapetse Sebone scored.
Siwelele are ninth after the defeat, while Rise and Shine are sixth with four points.
