Richards Bay secured crucial points on their home ground after overcoming Sekhukhune United by 2-1 at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday evening.
Lehlohonolo Seema’s team took an early advantage through Chibuike Ohizu in the eighth minute, however, Fezile Gcaba equalized for the Natal Rich Boys in the 57th minute.
As it appeared the match would have ended in a draw, former Mamelodi Sundowns forward Thabiso Kutumela scored late in stoppage time to secure all three points for the KwaZulu-Natal team.
This result enabled Richards Bay to displace SuperSport United from the 12th position in the PSL standings, while Babina Noko remained in fourth place on the log.
