    TS GALAXY 2-0 CAPE TOWN CITY

    TS Galaxy capitalized on their home-ground advantage when they defeated Cape Town City 2-0 at the Mbombela Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

    Former Orlando Pirates academy player Samukele Kabini opened the scoring for the Rockets in the 34th minute, followed by Dzenan Zajmovic securing the second goal just a minute before the half-time break.

    The result in Mpumalanga left the Citizens in eighth position, while the Rockets climbed up to 10th place in the PSL table.

    AMAZULU 2-1 SUPERSPORT UNITED

    SuperSport United fell to a disappointing 2-1 loss against AmaZulu at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening.

    Attacking midfielder Rowan Human found the net for Usuthu in the 14th minute, however, Matsatsantsa equalized through Siphesihle Ndlovu in the 36th minute.

    Just when it seemed that the two teams would settle for a draw in Durban, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Ben Motshwari scored the decisive goal for the KwaZulu-Natal team.

    The maximum points elevated AmaZulu to ninth place, while SuperSport slipped down to 11th position.

    STELLENBOSCH 1-1 SEKHUKHUNE UNITED

    The game between Stellenbosch FC and Sekhukhune United ended with a 1-1 draw at the Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday afternoon.  

    Former Cape Town Spurs midfield star Chumani Butsaka provided Stellies with a quick lead by scoring within the first six minutes of the match.

    Nonetheless, Sipho Mbule equalised for Babina Noko in the 22nd minute after being set up by Katlego Otladisa, however, his teammate midfielder Siphesihle Mkhize received a red card four minutes later.

    The result in the Cape Winelands saw Sekhukhune remain in fourth place while Stellies were unable to move from sixth position.

    POLOKWANE CITY 1-0 CHIPPA UNITED

    Polokwane City maintained their impressive form after securing a 1-0 victory over Chippa United at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday evening.

    A goal from midfield star Rodney Maphangule in the 42nd minute was sufficient to secure Rise and Shine the full points at home.

    Phuti Mohafe's team stayed in third place in the Premier Soccer League standings while Chilli Boys are placed in 12th spot.
