    WHAT HAPPENED?

Kaizer Chiefs beat Stellenbosch 3-1 to progress to the Nedbank Cup semi-finals.

The victory came under controversial circumstances, and the Soweto giants are now waiting to know their last four opponents.

    WHAT NABI SAID

“There’s no special preference because when a team gets to the semifinal, you have to be very careful because they have their very own strengths,” said Nabi as per FARPost.

“And you need to prepare seriously for every team. Even Durban City FC, if they have gotten into the quarterfinals, that means they are very strong, and we need to respect them.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Amakhosi now await to know their Nedbank Cup semi-final opponents following Sunday's draw.

They could get Orlando Pirates or the winner between Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United or the triumphant side between Durban City and Marumo Gallants.

This is Chiefs' last realistic chance to end this season with a trophy.
