<p>Rashford is highly unlikely to continue at Manchester United past this season as the England international claimed publicly that <a href="https://www.goal.com/en/lists/marcus-rashford-reveals-desire-to-leave-man-utd-bombshell-interview-derby-snub-ruben-amorim/blt98cdbc7c391c455e" target="_blank">he is looking for a new challenge</a> after being dropped from five of the last six matchday squads by new boss Ruben Amorim. The Red Devils are now looking for avenues to offload the 27-year-old this January.</p>

<p>AC Milan have been one of the clubs interested in the situation of Rashford at United. <a href="https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jan/06/marcus-rashford-a-loan-target-for-milan-as-manchester-united-mull-zirkzee-exit" target="_blank">The Guardian</a> have now claimed that the Rossonerri are keen on signing the England international on loan this January for new boss Sergio Conceicao but have demanded that United foot a major part of Rashford’s salary if the Red Devils want them to take the 27-year-old off their hands.</p>

<p>Rashford is reportedly the top earner in Manchester United's first-team this season paid more than the likes of Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro. The 27-year-old earns reported wages of £365,000 per week ($457k) and AC Milan are unwilling to pay the majority of those wages.</p>
