WHAT HAPPENED?
Mamelodi Sundowns have signed the central defender Lucas Suarez from Argentinian side CA Tallares.
Signed by Miguel Cardoso, the 29-year-old can also play as a left-back and was part of the Argentina Under-20 Fifa World Cup squad.

"Lucas Suarez joins the Yellow Nation," Sundowns said.
"Masandawana, let’s welcome Argentine centre-back Lucas Suárez to the Yellow Nation! 🙌."

Suarez becomes the second defender to be signed by Masandawana in this January player transfer window.
He arrives at Chloorkop just after Keano Cupido was signed from Cape Town City and is now part of a Sundowns defence which includes established players like Mothobi Mvala, Grant Kekana, Malibongwe Khoza, Rivaldo Coetzee and Khuliso Mudau.
This follows the departure of Rushine de Reuck who went to Israel where he signed for Maccabi Petah Tikva.
