    WHAT FROSLER SAID

“I just have to try and do my best,” Frosler told the media at Naturena on Thursday

“You said to me my contract is finishing end of the season, so I’ve got the next few months to stay fully focused, and continue doing my job at the club," said Frosler as reported by iDiski Times.

“The rest of us all got to do our jobs, try to get the best possible results for us as a team.”

“I play to have a good six months and [the] team may achieve everything that needs to achieve and that we achieve as a unity.”

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Reeve Frosler has been an integral part of Kaizer Chiefs, consistently proving his worth since 2019. Facing competition from Dillon Solomons, Zitha Kwinika, and Njabulo Blom, Frosler remains a key contender for the right-back position.

He has already featured in over 12 games this season and hopes to secure more playing time in order to impress the club hierarchy and earn a new contract as he helps Amakhosi salvage their season.

His commitment and versatility are assets for the club in its pursuit of consistency and success.

    WHAT NEXT FOR CHIEFS?

Kaizer Chiefs are set to host an in-form Sekhukhune United on Sunday, January 19, at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Following a disappointing loss to Golden Arrows at the same venue, Chiefs urgently need points to climb the league table.

The team will be hoping to rectify recent lapses in defence and capitalize on scoring opportunities with coach Nabi likely to depend on Frosler and other experienced players to inspire the team.

The match presents a critical test for Chiefs as they aim to regain momentum and climb the table.
