Jamal Musiala to replace Kevin De Bruyne?! Man City eye huge €100m swoop for Bayern Munich star but face competition from Real Madrid for Harry Kane's team-mate

Per Team Talk, City are preparing a bid worth €100m to sign Musiala from Bayern, but face rival interest from Madrid. Musiala is under contract until 2026 and has yet to enter into negotiations with the club to extend that deal.

Madrid view the Germany international as a potential backup for Jude Bellingham, while City believe he could thrive under the management of Pep Guardiola. He could also potentially replace Kevin De Bruyne, who has been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia. Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea are also monitoring developments, as Musiala is said to be very keen on a move to England.

In six games thus far this season, Musiala has scored three goals and provided three assists in six games in all competitions. Last season, he scored 12 goals and laid on eight assists in 38 games, before scoring three times for Germany at Euro 2024.

City and Madrid will be keeping a close eye on developments as Bayern play the reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen this weekend.
