65' GOAL - Turkey's equaliser lasts only four minutes. Barella is fouled in the right inside channel and Marciniak gives the free-kick. The Inter midfielder takes it himself, hanging up a cross to the far post where Calafiori, leaning slightly into Elmali's back, climbs highest and heads past Cakir. Montella and Turkey are furious over the push, but Marciniak does not change his mind.
61' GOAL - Akgun threads a vertical ball into Celik's run after Doumbia loses him. The Juventus full-back sends over a cross that finds Elmali in the middle and, with an accidental backheel, he lays it into the path of Simsir and catches the whole Italy defence out of sync. At the far post, the Trabzonspor forward has a simple finish to beat Donnarumma.
57' CHANCE - Maldini does brilliantly and works it out to the left for Pio Esposito. The Inter forward spots Doumbia's run into the box, and the midfielder controls before shooting right-footed when clean through on Cakir, who produces a classic star-shaped save and blocks the Italy midfielder's effort with his foot.
50' Di Lorenzo and Donnarumma get in a mess and let the ball run through on the edge of the area, with Simsir pouncing. The Turkey forward keeps it in play and cuts inside along the byline, only for the recovering Bastoni to stop him at the last for a corner.
40' Italy switch play from right to left, with Ruggeri taking advantage of Doumbia's run and collecting the ball on the edge of the area. He controls it and shoots with his right foot, but the defence deflects it behind for a corner.
26' GOAL - Vergara and Di Lorenzo combine down the right before the Napoli full-back swings in a cross. In the middle, Doumbia and Scamacca go up together, with the midfielder's header striking the striker in the back. The ball drops kindly and, in an instant, the Atalanta forward adjusts himself and unleashes a powerful right-footed effort that clips the crossbar and ends up in the net.
17' CHANCE - Akgun makes another run into the Italy penalty area and tries to loop a header over Donnarumma, but the Italy goalkeeper is well positioned and gathers high.
16' Turkey play out superbly from the back again and find Khaveci between the lines. The ball then reaches Ozcan, who curls an effort towards goal, with Donnarumma doing well to hold it.
14' CHANCE - Kabak gets a shot away from the edge of the area. It is a fine, powerful low diagonal effort that Donnarumma gets down to and pushes behind for a corner.
12' A dangerous vertical ball from the defence catches the Italy back line exposed. Khaveci's control lets him down and the danger passes, but had he brought it down properly he would have been through one-on-one with Donnarumma.
11' Scamacca controls the ball, shifts it on to his right foot and lets fly from the edge of the area with a powerful right-footed effort that misses the target.
