Ilkay Gundogan salary: How much does Manchester City star earn per week and annually in the Premier League?

Since his return to the Etihad, Gundogan has been earning £230,000 ($297,223) on a weekly basis, while his annual salary scales up to £11.9 million ($15.4m).

Despite his high wages at City, Gundogan misses out on a spot in the top five, sitting in seventh, just behind the likes of Omar Marmoush and John Stones.

Sitting comfortably at the top of City's wage bill is Norwegian striker Erling Haaland, followed by Kevin De Bruyne and Jack Grealish.

Although Haaland and De Bruyne are the top earners in the Premier League, they fail to make the top five when it comes to the highest-paid players across the world.

At the top sits the never-aging Cristiano Ronaldo playing for Saudi Premier League side Al Nassr. At number two comes Al Ittihad's Karim Benzema, while Riyad Mahrez of Al Ahli makes an appearance at number three.

Meanwhile, Senegalese internationals Sadio Mane and Kalidou Koulibaly round off the list and fourth and fifth spots, respectively.
