    WHAT HAPPENED?

Orlando Pirates have been at the forefront of transfer activity, ushering in a wave of new signings while parting ways with several long-serving players.

As the Buccaneers gear up for the MTN8 final, the media were invited to an open training session at Rand Stadium on Tuesday, 9 September, where two unfamiliar faces were spotted. Their presence quickly fuelled speculation about whether the Soweto giants are still eyeing further reinforcements, prompting head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou to address the matter directly.

    WHAT’S NEXT FOR PIRATES?

With just under two weeks left before the transfer window officially shuts, Pirates have temporarily set aside transfer speculation to concentrate fully on the task at hand.

Their immediate focus is Saturday’s MTN8 final against Stellenbosch FC at Mbombela Stadium. It is an eagerly anticipated clash that presents the Buccaneers with a golden opportunity to secure their first piece of silverware this season and lay down a marker for the campaign ahead.
