When asked about Manchester United's prospects of securing a top-four finish, Amorim offered a measured response.
âI will be judged [on] the place that we finish. If I said no you will say that I cannot be a Manchester United manager,â said the 39-year-old to reporters. âI want to be honest with our fans â so letâs focus on the performance, not the results. Letâs focus just on the next game and look at the performance. Thursday [against BodĂž/Glimt] it was 3-2, but I think we deserved more. Today was 4-0 â but I think Everton deserved [more]. So letâs focus on the performance.â
