  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Gary Neville attended Beckham's recent birthday party, unlike David's son Brooklyn. While he acknowledged being present, he remained tight-lipped about the details, sparking intrigue and amusement amongst his colleagues on the Stick to Football podcast, including Jill Scott, Roy Keane, Ian Wright, and Paul Scholes.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Neville, of course, was best friends with Beckham throughout his time at United - even being the best man at his wedding - and they appear to have remained close. The former right-back, though, did not want to give too much away.

  • WHAT NEVILLE, KEANE AND SCOTT SAID

Scott asked Neville on Stick to Football: "Speaking of Beckham, how was the party? I've seen some pictures of you in the paper. You looked a bit worse for wear."

Roy Keane said: "Tell me more. I've not seen them."

Neville replied: "It was before Sunday's game, I wasn't at my best on Sunday. Yeah. It was about half three in the morning."

Asked to explain the pictures Scott was referring to, he remained coy, saying: "It was a good night, yeah."

And on Cruise, he said: "Loosely, he was there, yeah."
