WHAT HAPPENED?
Former Kaizer Chiefs coach Molefi Ntseki announced his Bafana Bafana squad for the 2025 African Nations Championship to be co-hosted by Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.
The tournament, reserved for home-based players, will run from August 2 to 30.
In his selection, Ntseki included 14 players who are unattached and club-hunting, and that includes Zakhele Lepasa, who is no longer with Orlando Pirates.

LEPASA'S STATUS
Sources told GOAL that Lepasa is no longer with the Buccaneers and this excplains why he missed the pre-season camp in Spain.
One informer confided, "Yes, as far as we know as SAFA, Zakhele is no longer with Pirates."

Ntseki's squad includes experienced players who could be no match for their opponents at CHAN.
Bafana have been known not to channel much attention to this tournament, but the quality at Ntseki's disposal could heighten expectations.
