Chippa United release former Mamelodi sundowns star Andile Jali, Kaizer Chiefs-linked striker and 16 others, but Orlando Pirates transfer target stays put

Chippa United have released 18 players, including Andile Jali, who spent just one season at the club.

Also exiting is forward Bienvenu Eva Nga, who leaves amid reports that Kaizer Chiefs are interested in him.

Former Orlando Pirates stars like Craig Martin and Justice Chabalala have also left the club, while Siphelo Balon,i who was on loan, returns to the Buccaneers.

Missing from the players who are leaving the Chilli Boys is Sinoxolo Kwayiba, who has reportedly attracted the interest of Pirates.

New coach Sinethemba Badela might have plans for the Bafana Bafana attacking midfielder.

It also remains to be seen whether Eva Nga will go to Chiefs or Jali's next step in his career.

After parting ways with 18 players, Badela will have a lot to do in the market to build a solid squad for next season.
