Guler made time for everyone - security staff included - as the Real Madrid star was spotted stopping for selfies and autographs in terrible weather before his country's international friendly against the USMNT.

Turkiye are yet to start their World Cup qualification campaign, having instead played Nations League games as they sealed a promotion to League A, and took on Mauricio Pochettino's USA on Saturday. After going 1-0 down in the opening minute, Guler equalised midway through the first half and Kerem Akturkoglu quickly followed it up with a second goal on their way to securing a 2-1 win.

His latest goal was Guler's fifth for Turkiye since his debut in 2022. The 20-year-old got more opportunities during his second season with Real Madrid and his development under incoming manager Xabi Alonso will be exciting to see.

Guler will be involved in another Stateside friendly against Mexico before taking part in the Club World Cup with Madrid later this month.
