  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Postecoglou led Tottenham to their first silverware in 17 years earlier this week when they beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final, before appearing to confirm he was staying at the club by telling fans during the victory parade that in "all the best television series, season three is better than season two!". However, he has subsequently clarified those comments.

    Postecoglou has since said: "I should have thought about it a bit more because as somebody rightly pointed out, sometimes they kill off the main character. I could be in strife there!"
