Garnacho was pulled in the 43rd minute during United's 3-2 win over Ipswich Town on Wednesday night. The 20-year-old headed straight down the tunnel after being replaced by full-back Noussair Mazraoui following Patrick Dorgu's red card, with some supporters unhappy with his decision not to sit on the bench with his team-mates.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
While Garnacho cut a dejected figure while leaving the pitch and didn't return to the United bench in the second half, there's no bad blood between the player and his manager. Amorim said Garnacho watched the remainder of the game from the stands, and came to speak with him on Thursday morning.

WHAT RUBEN AMORIM SAID
"He's a young kid that will learn. The important thing was the next morning he was speaking with me," the United boss said.
"I told him at Manchester United everything is important and the perception in big a club is really important. So he is going to pay a dinner to all the team and that's it."
WHAT NEXT FOR ALEJANDRO GARNACHO?
Garnacho picked up a minor injury against Ipswich and will need to be cleared by United's physios if he is to feature against Fulham at Old Trafford on Sunday. Amorim is optimistic he will be available for the FA Cup fifth-round tie, however, with the Red Devils looking to continue their trophy defence amid their struggles in the Premier League.
