    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Pirates faithful are concerned about the future of the team, especially with the new coach especially with the team he has managed to build.

However, Riveiro insists the Soweto giants have a solid plan that is being executed.

He has assured the supporters that his exit will not hurt the club as others may think.

    WHAT RIVEIRO SAID

“This is a club project, not a Riveiro project. I have answered this question many, many times,” the Spaniard told the media.

“The club knows what they are doing. Whoever is coming is gonna be the right person and will have the support and will find himself in a good platform to continue where we’re going to stop at the end of the season.

“Football is a cycle, and Orlando Pirates is a huge institution; nothing is going to change because Riveiro is in or out.

“The Buccaneers don’t need to be concerned about that because the future is brilliant for the club, and it’s gonna be alright," Riveiro concluded.
