Back in 2001, Adriano senior linked up with Serie A heavyweights at San Siro. He would go on to become a cult hero at Inter courtesy of his hammer of a left foot and the many spectacular goals that he scored – with the target being found on 73 occasions in total through 163 appearances.
The now 43-year-old’s son, Adriano Carvalho, is looking to follow in illustrious footsteps. He has been turning out for Serrano in Brazil since 2022, but feels the time has come to test himself in Europe. A deal has been agreed in Portugal.
