Jong Almere City FC Overview

Former Celtic defender Alan Stubbs has explained to GOAL why Premier League transfer talk has faded away for Hoops and USMNT centre-half Cameron Carter-Vickers. The Tottenham academy graduate was being heavily linked with a return to England at one stage, but plenty of difficult recruitment questions are now being asked at Parkhead.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill has officially confirmed his decision to stay at the club after a brief period of reflection during the international break. The experienced boss had considered his future following three consecutive defeats, but he is now fully prepared to lead the team forward and resume their ongoing battle for the Scottish league title.

Mika Baur has admitted his astonishment at receiving a maiden Germany call-up just months after joining Celtic. The 22-year-old midfielder is now in line for a potential international debut under Jurgen Klopp as Die Mannschaft prepare for a high-stakes Nations League meeting with Serbia.

Emile Heskey has, in an exclusive interview with GOAL, named Celtic boss Martin O’Neill and Liverpool icon Gerard Houllier as the best managers that he worked under. The ex- England international, who spent time with Leicester and at Anfield in his playing days, is now helping to find potential Premier League coaches of the future as part of an inspiring new enterprise.
