This weekend brings a pivotal Western Conference MLS showdown as LA Galaxy (5-18-9, 16th in the West) gear up for their second-to-last game of the 2025 season.
All eyes, however, will be on FC Dallas (10-11-11, ninth in the West), who are under serious pressure to collect maximum points to keep their playoff hopes firmly in their own hands.
For the second time in just seven days, these sides will clash. Dallas will be itching to replicate their 2-1 triumph over the Galaxy from last Saturday, when Diego Fagundez gave LA an early jolt by scoring in the fourth minute before the visitors clawed back to claim victory.
With only two games remaining, FC Dallas sit just three points outside the top seven, making every point critical. A loss this Saturday could leave them sweating it out, as they are only a single point above Colorado Rapids in tenth.

LA Galaxy will be short-handed heading into this clash, with Marco Reus, Gabriel Pec, Christian Ramirez, and three other key players sidelined through injury. That means even more weight falls on Joseph Paintsil, who has been the spark in their attack all season.
The dynamic forward has notched nine goals and provided five assists across 25 MLS outings, consistently being the bright spot in an otherwise turbulent campaign for the Galaxy.
