Al-Taawoun take on Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League. Here’s how you can secure your tickets

Former Manchester City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders has offered a remarkably candid explanation for his summer move to Saudi Arabia, admitting that the lure of life-changing money was the primary factor. The Netherlands international swapped the Etihad Stadium for Al-Qadsiah in a £52 million deal just one season after arriving in the Premier League from AC Milan.

Saudi Pro League stars Sadio Mane and Julian Quinones have earned landmark nominations for the 2026 Ballon d'Or following superb domestic and international campaigns. The Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah forward duo lead a strong RSL contingent recognised by France Football, with goalkeepers Yassine Bounou and Edouard Mendy also shortlisted for the Yashin Trophy.

New Netherlands manager Xavi Hernandez has dramatically broken with past policies by declaring that players plying their trade outside Europe will be considered for national selection. The former Barcelona boss insisted that pitch performance is all that matters, offering fresh hope to stars like Tijjani Reijnders, Memphis Depay, and Crysencio Summerville.
