He is famous, not only for his efficient and intelligent defending, but he also surges forward regularly where - if he's not on the scoresheet, he gets his name on the assist's list frequently, currently sitting on 39 goals and 85 assists for Real Madrid in 469 appearances.
The 30-year-old also holds Madrid's record for most appearances, 53, in a single season achieved in the 2015/2016.
