Niger Tornadoes won’t return emptyhanded, says Bala

Niger Tornadoes head coach Abubakar Bala is confident his side will return with at least point from Sunday's Nigeria Professional Football League match against Plateau United .

After going five games unbeaten with a 1-0 home win over Enyimba, the Ikon Allah are eager to maintain their fine form in their Week Nine clash at the Rwang Pam Stadium in Jos.

Despite knowledge of the hosts’ invincibility at home, the former FC Lokoja boss insists they will sustain their impressive away form to avoid defeat against Kennedy Boboye’s men.

“We know it is going to be a tough challenge but we are ready,” Bala told Goal.

“As far as we are concern, we’ve prepared well to face the league leaders Plateau United.

“Like I once said in the beginning of the season, our target is to get the team stabilise in the first ten games.

“We believe that after ten games - our team should be able to beat any side in the league. So far so good, the boys are beginning to understand the new philosophy of the team.

“We have identified our strategies for away matches and different tactics for our home games.

“Our tactics away has given us a won and a draw but we lost two in four games and getting familiarized with the tactics which is already paying off for us.

“We hope to give them a good match and ensure we don’t comeback from Jos empty handed.”
