Monaco star Falcao announces his greatest hat-trick

Hours after seeing his team reach the last eight in the Champions League, the Colombia striker revealed he has more reason to be happy

It’s been a very good week for Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

Admittedly a hip injury consigned him to the stands as his side progressed to the quarter-finals of the Champions League by defeating Manchester City 3-1 on Wednesday evening, but he has had plenty of other cause to celebrate.

On Thursday, he announced that he and his wife, Lorelei Taron, are expecting their third child.

In a simple Instagram post, ‘El Tigre’ posted: “2013, 2015, 2017 – hat trick.”

Falcao has rediscovered his scoring touch with the Ligue 1 outfit this season, netting 24 goals in 31 appearances, with the Stade Louis II side retaining an interest in four competitions going into the final two months of the campaign.
