Kakamega Homeboyz challenged to start scoring goals

Kakamega Homeboyz coach Mike Mururi has challenged his charges to start scoring goals in the top league.

Homeboyz dominated champions Tusker last weekend but went down by a solitary goal courtesy of Humphrey Mieno. Coach Mururi now believes that without goals, the team will continue to struggle in the league.

“We created so many chances against Tusker, but we didn’t have even one shot on target in the second half. That is a very bad sign. If we are not clinical on goal then we are in trouble. Why? We will not win. On the happy side, I am happy with the output of the players," Mururi told KPL official website.

"Apart from wasting chances, I think they played very well and gave a good challenge to Tusker, who are the reigning champions remember.”
