Harambee Stars failed to down 132nd ranked Comoros in a friendly match on Saturday.
Second half substitute Cliftone Miheso salvaged a 2-2 draw for the Stanley Okumbi coached side after captain Victor Wanyama had scored the opener from the penalty spot.
Former Western Stima coach Henry Omino is surprised with the result, terming it as an embarrassment. “We keep on registering poor results against teams we should be beating, it is embarrassing! Maybe the coach had new methods that did not work as planned, but still that is not an excuse.
“Players should also not be a letdown; they should give their best because they are being taken care of well by the federation,” Omino told Goal.
Harambee Stars will take on the Central African Republic in another friendly on Tuesday.
