Aziz Ki has officially joined Moroccan giants Wydad Casablanca after leaving Tanzanian side Young Africans (Yanga). The midfield maestro had a stellar campaign with Yanga, helping them dominate domestic football and impress in CAF competitions.
Aziz Ki now links up with South African internationals Cassius Mailula and Thembinkosi Lorch, adding flair and strength to Wydad’s midfield. His signing comes at a pivotal time as Wydad prepares for the FIFA Club World Cup.
The Red Castle are going through a transition phase after parting ways with coach Rulani Mokwena. Aziz Ki is expected to bring leadership and attacking quality to the side. Wydad fans are hopeful that his presence will reignite the team’s form on the continental stage.
