The clash between the Liverpool forward and City boss came after a tight affair between the two teams. Erling Haaland had fired City to a first-half lead with his 50th Premier League goal, but Liverpool fought for an equaliser and eventually found it when Trent Alexander-Arnold struck in the 80th minute. The result keeps City top of the table for now, but Arsenal will overtake them with a win against Brentford later on Saturday.

City are in action again in midweek when they take on RB Leipzig in the Champions League. Then, on Thursday, Liverpool will come up against LASK in the Europa League.
