'The road to a semi' - Rasmus Hojlund makes lewd Instagram post to celebrate Man Utd's late victory over Lyon

Hojlund featured in United's starting lineup against Lyon on Thursday in their Europa League second leg at Old Trafford. The Danish forward was subbed off in the 87th minute as Kobbie Mainoo replaced him. The midfielder went on to grab the equaliser in the 120th minute before Harry Maguire scored a late winner to seal a historic 5-4 win for the club.

Hojlund was on cloud nine after the Red Devils' comeback victory, as he shared a lewd joke on social media to celebrate the team's last-four qualification. On Instagram, the Danish forward wrote: "When the road to a semi gives you a semi." Many of Hojlund's team-mates, including Joshua Zirkzee and Ayden Heaven, saw the funny side in the comments section.

Ruben Amorim's side made history as they became the first club to score twice in the 120th minute in any major European competition. This was also the second time that United won 5-4 in a game since beating Arsenal at Highbury in 1958.

The Red Devils will be next seen in action in the Premier League this Sunday as they take on Wolves at home.
