72' GOAL - Salzburg's defence give the ball away, and Jashari wins it back on the edge of the area. The ball reaches Goncalo Ramos, who adjusts his body and beats the goalkeeper at the far post.
68' CHANCE - Modric's through ball troubles the Austrian defence. Hutchinson cuts inside onto his left foot and beats Schmid, but Zawieschitzky, wrong-footed at the near post, turns his effort behind for a corner.
49' GOAL AND LENGTHY VAR CHECK - AC Milan wobble again at the back, but Pavlovic makes amends by starting an attack and playing Loftus-Cheek through. The ball goes to Rabiot on the overlap, and he crosses into the middle of the area for another poacher's tap-in from Cisse. A lengthy VAR check follows over the Italian striker's tight offside position. Officials eventually judge that Zabransky played him onside, albeit narrowly, and the hat-trick stands.
48' CHANCE - Salzburg threaten for the first time when Lindstrom plays in Morgalla, whose shot goes narrowly wide.
33' GOAL - Rabiot picks out Bartesaghi's run into space on the left with a superb ball from the right. Bartesaghi volleys the ball into the middle of the area, where an unmarked Cisse beats Zawieschitzky for the second time.
25' CHANCE - Mazurek's powerful long-range strike takes a strange trajectory and whistles just wide of Maignan's goal.
21' YELLOW CARD - Hutchinson accidentally brings down Mazurek as their paths cross while running, without looking at his opponent. Fesnic sees it as deliberate and books him.
17' GOAL-LINE CLEARANCE - Right on the offside line, Rabiot starts a move that puts Loftus-Cheek one-on-one with Zawieschitzky. The goalkeeper comes out low to save, but the ball falls to Hutchinson, who looks certain to score. With Zawieschitzky beaten, Boma clears his shot off the line and behind for a corner.
15' GOAL - Hutchinson produces his first fine move, crossing from the right to pick out Cisse's run into the middle of the area. The Italian gets ahead of Morgalla and beats Zawieschitzky.
13' CHANCE - Cisse exchanges passes with Bartesaghi in a fine, direct AC Milan move and bursts into the area, but an unfortunate final touch allows Zawieschitzky to intervene.
8' CHANCE - A long ball finds Bartesaghi, who reaches the byline and drives a cross into the middle of the area for Rabiot. His right-footed volley heads towards goal, but an unfortunate deflection off Camarda saves Salzburg.
