AFPTHE BIGGER PICTURE
According toMarca, Bellingham left the pitch quickly before the trophy presentation and heading straight to consult with the team's medical staff. He was seen speaking first to a physiotherapist and then to the head of the medical services, who promptly instructed his leg to be bandaged. Though Bellingham rejoined the celebration, he was visibly cautious, avoiding putting full weight on his right leg during the traditional "champions, champions" jumps.
AFPWHAT NEXT FOR BELLINGHAM?
Although the injury does not appear severe, Real’s medical team will conduct a detailed examination in Madrid to assess the extent of Bellingham’s discomfort. The team will be aiming to confirm whether it was a minor knock or something that requires further attention. The timing is critical as Real Madrid are set to face Sevilla on Sunday in their final match of the year. His potential absence would be a significant blow for Madrid, as the midfielder has been pivotal in both creating and finishing key plays throughout the season.
