    Real Madrid are considering a move for Chelsea youngster Josh Acheampong as they are ready to abandon their policy of not making any January signings due to Dani Carvajal's injury, with Carlo Ancelotti desperate to add some fresh blood to their defence.

    Real Madrid are by no means the only club interested in signing the right-back, though, as Liverpool, Tottenham and Newcastle are all closely monitoring the 18-year-old's situation.

    Chelsea, meanwhile, seemingly have no intention of cashing in on the young defender because he is part of their plans for the future.
