Notorious! Conor McGregor & David Beckham become ‘yacht neighbours’ during luxury family vacations as UFC icon & Man Utd supporter meets ‘big inspiration’

Superstars of MMA and global football have been making the most of opportunities to relax and unwind alongside their loved ones. For Beckham, that has meant heading away with sons Romeo and Cruz.

While soaking up some sun on board a lavish vessel, the Beckhams have run into McGregor. The ‘Notorious’ Irishman has been in Italy training for an apparent return to the Octagon that has been mooted for some time.

McGregor is hoping to take “big inspiration” from a man that he has always looked up to. The 37-year-old is a passionate United supporter, but has never before crossed paths with Old Trafford fan favourite Becks.

McGregor posted on Instagram after getting an unexpected opportunity to rub shoulders with the ex-England captain: “David Beckham, what a guy! Great to meet you and the fam finally, a big inspiration for me growing up! The Beckham dynasty, an absolute powerhouse that COMMANDS FULL RESPECT! #YachtNeighbours”

While McGregor is readying himself for a potential return to the ring, Beckham will soon be turning his attention back to events at Inter Miami as co-owner of the MLS outfit - who are still hoping to see Lionel Messi commit to a new contract in South Florida.
