    WHAT NICO WILLIAMS SAID

“This relationship we have at the heart of the club is incredible. Everyone respects everyone else, which is incredible," he told France Football. "This atmosphere, I’ll never have it anywhere else. I decided to stay because of that. I took the decision I thought was the right one. I’m happy, and I’m trying to do my best."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Williams made a name for himself with some stunning Euro 2024 performances for Spain on their run to the title and he continues to impress at Athletic Club. If any team does sign him, it will not be on the cheap and he is likely to command big wages, too.
