Problems at Naturena
Kaizer Chiefs’ legendary goalkeeper Joseph Setlhodi has blamed the club's leadership for the problems the Premier Soccer League side has been facing.
Banks, as Setlhodi is popularly known, believes even the best coaches in the world cannot solve the problems at Naturena because of the leadership.

'Results would not change'
“Before you talk about coaches, let’s talk about the players. You can bring 20 coaches to Chiefs, from the best in the world; the results won’t change," Setlhodi told FARPost.
"Chiefs lack good footballers. That is the problem. The coach does not win the game; it is the players who win the game. The coach only directs.
“If you are blind and leading a nation, that nation will fail because you see nothing," he added.
"I don’t think Kaizer Chiefs have good leaders to address what is happening. Everybody can see where the problem is at Chiefs. They don’t fix the problems. The question is, why? Why?”
Esteghlal FCCan Mosimane fix Chiefs?
Should Chiefs even decide to appoint PSL and Champions League winner, Pitso Mosimane, the coach will not stay, Setlhodi argues, because of the club's leadership.
“Pitso would not stay at Chiefs. You know why? Because Chiefs don’t have good leaders, they don’t know how to address football matters. They think football is just business; you just go to the office and stay there. Football is something else," he added.
“If Pitso goes to Chiefs, he will demand players. If they don’t give him what he needs, he will leave. Pitso won’t want to work with average players. You can’t have players earning R50,000 but still need to be taught how to trap the ball."
Kaizer Chiefs on XStruggles at Chiefs resurface again
Although they have a rich history as a footballing entity, Amakhosi have been struggling in recent seasons.
They are yet to win the PSL title in over ten years, and a decade-long trophy drought ended last season when they won the Nedbank Cup.
This season, they started brightly, but their momentum has been slowed by recent poor results. To complicate matters for them, they parted ways with coach Nasreddine Nabi in an uncertain way.
Their dream of winning even more titles was crushed when they were eliminated from the Carling Knockout Cup.

After Nabi's departure was confirmed, his assistants, Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef, were handed the coaching roles until the end of the season.
They now carry the club's responsibilities and aspirations as they hope to have a far better season than last season, when they finished outside the top eight.
The Glamour Boys will face Simba of DR Congo in a CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round on October 18.
