Mary Earps to leave the WSL? Arsenal cool interest in Lionesses & Man Utd goalkeeper with PSG frontrunners for her signature ahead of Barcelona

According to The Standard, the French giants are the frontrunners ahead of Barcelona to sign Manchester United and England international goalkeeper Mary Earps. Arsenal were initially interested in signing the Lionesses star but they are no longer interested and are unlikely to place a bid.

The 30-year-old's existing contract with the Red Devils expires at the end of the ongoing 2023/24 season which has prompted several clubs across Europe - including PSG and the Catalan giants - to approach for a possible summer move.

The custodian was in sensational form in 2023 and won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award. Her consistent performances for both club and country last year could lead to making her one of the highest paid women's footballers in the world next season.

The United star is currently enjoying the winter break and will be back in action for her club on January 14 as they are all set to lock horns against Newcastle United in an FA Women's Cup clash.
