    WHAT HAPPENED?

Bradley is set for his second season with Liverpool after having risen up through the youth ranks of the Merseyside club. The 21-year-old has admittedly grown a lot physically ahead of Arne Slot's debut season at Anfield as was obvious during his appearances in all three of Liverpool's pre-season friendlies. McAllister has also commented on the same and claimed how impressed he is with Bradley.

    WHAT MCALLISTER SAID

Speaking on The Official Liverpool FC Podcast, the former Liverpool man said: "We spoke to him at the training, visually he just totally looks different. He’s still marauding forward but he’s grown into his body, he’s filling out and looking strong and quick.”

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Speaking to Liverpool's club media at the start of the Reds' preseason United States tour, Bradley himself addressed his physical development as he said: "I think naturally you get bigger as you get older but I try to work on it as well. In the off-season, I was in the gym just doing as much as I could while always recovering as well. I feel bigger, I feel stronger, I feel fitter.

"For me this pre-season, I just want to stay injury-free. I just want to make sure I'm as fit as I can [be] going into the season and make sure I've got no injuries, because obviously last year I think I only got two weeks of pre-season and obviously got the injury.

"My main focus is to just stay injury-free, get myself fit and get myself ready for the season."

  • WHAT NEXT FOR BRADLEY?

The 21-year-old started in all three friendlies for Slot, however, with Trent Alexander-Arnold likely to return soon, it is unlikely that Bradley will be able to start in Liverpool's Premier League opener against Ipswich Town on August 18.
